OUR HISTORY
1960
Spiliadis Ltd. is founded in Kalamata, Greece, as a machine manufacturer, initially focusing on the production of various machines for the flour and tobacco industries.
1970
The company enters the packaging sector, specialising in the development and manufacture of cellophane wrapper machines for the tobacco and confectionery industries.
1980
Spiliadis Ltd. develops the first Greek-made horizontal packaging machine (Flowpack), establishing itself as a leader in the Greek packaging manufacturing industry.
1985
The commercial success of the Flowpack in Greece and Europe enables the company to expand and modernise by investing in CNC machinery and developing new product lines.
1990
Tahipack Ltd. is founded in Athens as the commercial arm of Spiliadis Ltd., aiming to broaden the company’s reach across Greece and Europe.
2000
Tahipack Ltd. solidifies its position as a leader in the Greek packaging machinery sector and begins to expand its product portfolio by partnering with international manufacturers.
2015
